My Dream

I love dreaming and especially daydreaming. In university, I didn't like to study,
and my classmates could only see me during the first lesson and the exam time. I
used to sit leisurely in my bed during daytime, looked far from the window and
looked at the moving trees outside the dormitory. I could easily spend one
afternoon by looking at the students moving back and forth there.

I woke up after four years there and I was still not awake. So I 'slept'two more
years. Then I continued with my sleep in the 'social university!' Time flies and
I ‘slept?again for over a decade. I didn’t dream any dream that could wake me
up or give me surprises.

The year 2006 was a memorable year. This year I had two dreams. These two dreams
made me excited and anxious. I finally woke up after such a long time.

The first dream is to create a cultural product. The initial thought is to create
an 'open' novel written by different authors over the world. It is a novel which
is multi-language and suitable for different cultures. If the dream comes true,
this cultural product can become one of the main streams. By t hat time, there
will be posts like 'Book Directors.' One novel becomes one platform for different
people. The book director will consolidate all the pieces written by different
authors. An 'open'novel is a book open for readers?suggestions and ideas.Apart
from that, the novels have different editions and will let readers to choose the
style they preferred.

Frankly, this is only a dream. Since the ancient times, writers can hardly accept
each others?writings. If you want many authors to work cooperatively together,
it's almost impossible. Our book is the start and I wish that in the future there
would be more to come. Let's work hard together to achieve another era in writing.

My second dream is the peaceful ascendancy of China and other Asian countries. I
hope that their power will keep increasing and they can play a major role on the
world stage and become equal with the stron g powers in the West, have mutual
respect with them and work hard together for international affairs. To realize
this dream, we have to arouse the Westerners?interest in Eastern culture so that
they can have a deeper understanding of Eastern culture and even can identify
with it.

Thank God, I met the other two authors and we all have the same dream. In the
year 2007, I 'woke up' and became very alert. I strongly believe that my prophecy
will soon become true…In the future, with your support, I dare to say I
have made two great achievements!
